Victoria's Secret robbed again, 4th time in 8 months

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  -- The Murfreesboro Victoria’s Secret store on Medical Center Parkway has been the target of grab-and-run thieves for the fourth time in eight months.

In a report filed earlier this week, employee Gemma Hardy tells police two women came into the store just before 9 p.m. Tuesday evening. She says they picked up a number of items and then made a dash for the door.

Victoria’s secret says about $1100 worth of merchandise was stolen in this most recent incident. The store reports more than $15,000 in merchandise has been stolen in four nearly identical grab and run incidents since last July.

Murfreesboro Police say they’ve offered the store crime prevention classes. The department is circulating photos of this latest theft hoping someone will recognize the two women involved. You can see those photos on the news page at WMOT.org.

If you have any information about the thefts, call Murfreesboro Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP(7867).
