MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- Murfreesboro Police say they’re being called to some addresses hundreds of times a year and the City Council is considering penalties against the properties owners.
The Daily News Journal (tinyurl.com/hyjhyf5) quotes Police Chief Karl Durr saying he’s compiling a list of the worst offenders. He’s already identified one property where 79 shots fired calls were recorded in just three years.
Officers responded to noise complaints 240 times at another address.
Most of the addresses belong to apartment complexes clustered around Middle Tennessee State University.
