Words and Music with Darrell Scott

Darrell Scott has been productive during the pandemic, recording and releasing two albums Jaroso and Darrell Scott Sings the Blues of Hank Williams. Scott recorded his newest project, Jaroso live in a small adobe church in Colorado on the New Mexico border. Scott talks with Words and Music host Jessie Scott and performs “Lost Highway” , “There’s a Stone Around My Belly” and “The Day Before Thanksgiving”.

Val Hoeppner is the executive director of WMOT 89.5, executive producer of Wired In, 895 Fest, 895 Sessions, 895 Feast and the AmericanaFest Day Stage presented by WMOT, World Cafe and NPR Music. Hoeppner joined WMOT in 2014 and helped transition WMOT from mixed format to American Roots in 2016.
