Metro Nashville asking for public input on City Council and MNPS redistricting

nashville.gov

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne ) -- Metro Nashville is gearing up to draw new boundaries for City Council and School Board Districts.

Decade census data will soon be published by the federal government. Once the data is available, the Metro Planning Department will begin redistricting Davidson County.

City leaders are asking for public input on the process.

Nashville Planning Manager Greg Claxton says his team will consider more than population numbers when drawing up the new boundaries. He’s asking the residents to weigh in with opinions on how they think about their neighborhoods.
