NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne ) -- Nashville talk show host Phil Valentine has been placed on a respirator, according to his radio station WWTN.
The conservative radio commentator made national headlines earlier this month when he was hospitalized due to COVID-19 complications.
Valentine was an early and vocal critic of mask mandates and vaccination. The Valentine family released a statement earlier this week saying the talk show veteran now regrets that stand and is urging everyone to get vaccinated.
Valentine is just one of 125 Tennesseans on a respirator due to virus complications Thursday morning. The number of vent cases statewide has tripled over the last 25 days.
