Music featuring Shooter Jennings-produced country cat Levi Foster (pictured), instrumental guitar from composer Hiroya Tsukamoto, and Texas songwriter Jennie Hayes (from Brother & The Hayes).

Get ready for yours with this week's triple bill featuring timelessly melodic songwriter Jessie Gray, favorite Nashville hard country cat Boo Ray, and "Seattle-brewed Soulgrass" from the polymathic Paula Boggs (pictured).

This week we'll feature semi-retro country soul singer Sklyar Gregg, Red Dirt country cat Wade Bowen and respected Nashville roots rocker EG Vines (pictured).

This week, we'll feature California songwriter Dan Arwady (pictured), Kentucky folk rocker George Carnes, and new Kerrville New Folk winner Stephanie Sammons.

The official kickoff party to Labor Day Weekend is Finally Friday at 3rd & Lindsley with WMOT. We don't think there's a way to dispute it, especially after watching the lineup we have: Australian multi-instrumentalist and country singer Pete Denahy (pictured), roots rocker Sally Jaye, and indie/alt songwriter Aubory Bugg.

This week for Finally Friday, we're hosting a rather amazing trio of women: bluegrass star Bronwyn sporting a new album, edgy blues siren Luella, and LA country songwriter Alicia Blue.

We're losing daylight as Summer rolls on here in Middle Tennessee, so you really need to gather your gang and help us kick off the weekend with Finally Friday. Who doesn't need a fun does of music to kick the summer time blues after all? This week we'll have an all Nashville slate of country and roots artists: Tony Hannah, Roderick August (pictured) and Orion Redwolf.

We're not sure if it's sorcery, serendipity or happenstance, but this thing called Friday just keeps happening, and there isn't a better way to kick off your weekend than by spending it with WMOT. This week's Finally Friday features well-loved Nashville singer-songwriter Claudia Nygaard, Celtic influenced folkie Kathleen Hoye, and cowpunk pioneer Chip Kinman (pictured).
