Miss the Metro Schools pandemic Town Hall meeting? Stream it now online

MNPS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) --  Metro Nashville Public Schools leaders hosted a virtual town hall April 30 to answer parent questions as the coronavirus school closures continue.

In a press statement, officials say they called the meeting because parents had questions about what the pandemic and school closures meant for "classes, grades, tests, work schedules, high school graduation and more."

The system's leadership gathered in the MNPS School Board Room for the hour long Q&A session. Due to social distance concerns, the event was not open to the public.

MNPS Director Dr. Adrienne Battle noted that the system is providing significant resources online for parents working to keep their children learning at home during the crisis.
