NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Senator Marsha Blackburn will represent Tennessee at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night.

Blackburn is scheduled to speak in prime time ahead of several other Congressional Representatives, but following Vice President Mike Pence.

A salute to heroes will reportedly be the focus of Blackburn’s speech. The Senator says she plans to highlight heroic acts by Tennesseans in particular, including following this spring’s tornadoes in Middle Tennessee.

The Senator has been an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump. Blackburn also spoke at the 2016 GOP Convention.

Tennessee State Senator Raumesh Akbari gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention this past week.
