NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- Tennessee Congressional Rep. Jim Cooper is weighing in on the controversy surrounding conservative firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The Nashville Democrat says in a Twitter post that he’s co-sponsoring a bill to expel Rep. Greene from the U.S. House. Cooper calls her “a danger to the House & to the country.”
The Associated Press says the Georgia Republican has pushed conspiracy theories or “liked” posts that questioned whether school mass shootings ever occurred.
Greene says in her own social media posts that Democrats and the media are,
“coming after me because I’m a threat to their goal of Socialism.”
