(Mike Osborne) -- Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn and top U.S. infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci traded barbs on Wednesday.
The Hill reports Senator Blackburn released a video accusing Dr. Fauci of a false narrative about the origins of COVID-19 in partnership with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Blackburn has joined several other conservative Republican lawmakers who are attacking the leader of President Biden’s coronavirus response team.
During a MSNBC interview Dr. Fauci responded, saying “I don't want to be pejorative against a United States senator, but I have no idea what she's talking about."
