NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- You’ve got to move fast if you want to buy a home in Nashville.
Real estate company RE/MAX says in its latest Housing Report that Music City homes currently remain on the market for an average of just 21 days. That’s the third lowest Days on Market average in the nation’s 53 largest metro area.
RE/MAX says the hot seller’s market is being driven by low inventory. It says the number of homes on-market is the lowest recorded in 13 years.
The Greater Nashville Realtor’s Association reported at the end of January that there were just under 3,200 single homes for sale in the nine county Metro area. The median price for a Nashville home currently stands at $344,920.
