Blue Raiders Fight to Stay Bowl Eligible

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (BEASLEY)  --  After a 38-21 win Saturday over the Mean Green of North Texas, Middle Tennessee heads to Bowling Green to take on rival Western Kentucky.

Middle Tennessee has what could be the biggest game of the season Thursday, as they face the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

The Blue Raiders fell short against the Hiltoppers in Floyd Stadium last year, losing in double overtime 36-33.

Both teams share 3-1 records in Sun Belt play, while MT comes in with a three game conference win streak.

A win Thursday would allow Middle Tennessee to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2010.

The schedule start time is 8:15 p.m. on ESPNU, and as always you can hear the game right here on 89.5 FM WMOT.
