Wanted sex offender arrested at Clarksville home day care
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Montgomery County sheriff's deputies and U.S. marshals have arrested a fugitive sex offender at an in-home day care.
According to a news release from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, authorities found 36-year-old Christopher Dlubac Thursday at a Clarksville home where Vanessa's Little Ones Childcare operates.
The release says four children were in the home at the time. Seven children are cared for at the day care.
Dlubac was wanted for violating terms of the sex offender registry, a probation violation and theft. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation website, Dlubac was on the registry for a 2001 conviction of sex abuse.
Dlubac faces additional charges for three violations of the sex offender registry, as well as some drug charges.
Authorities are investigating the owners of the day care.
