Is Tennessee doing enough COVID-19 testing? Harvard study weighs in

globalhealth.harvard.edu

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- A new study by researchers at Harvard University lists Tennessee as one of only ten states in the nation where coronavirus testing is adequate.

Harvard’s Global Health institute partnered with NPR to consider how much testing each state should be doing in order to restart their economies safely.

Tennessee is the only Southeastern state Harvard says is conducting enough tests, at least for now.

The Harvard researchers warn, however, that Tennessee’s testing will need to grow rapidly as more of the state’s residents stop sheltering at home.
