WASHINGTON, DC. (Mike Osborne) -- Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn took direct aim at fellow Senator and Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris during yesterday’s confirmation hearing for Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
Senator Harris asked Judge Barrett whether she would vote to strike down Obamacare if seated on the High Court. Barrett responded that she would simply use the law’s wording to interpret what Congress intended when it passed the Affordable Care Act.
Senator Blackburn followed up that exchange by accusing Harris of trying to convince people that, if appointed, Judge Barrett would make it her “mission in life” to overturn Obamacare.
