Where coronavirus is concerned, your home is a dangerous place

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) — A new study suggests the one place you feel safest may be the most likely spot for contracting coronavirus.

A Vanderbilt study of virus transmission in the home found that just over half of those living with a virus positive individual also fell ill.

The Vanderbilt study says it happens fast, with three out of four secondary infections occurring in five days or less.

The most troubling finding is that nearly half of those infected had no symptoms when they tested positive. The study was conducted by tracking households here in Middle Tennessee.
