NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Nashville’s Metro Action Commission begins taking applications for rental assistance today.

Both renters and landlords can apply.

Funding comes from a nearly $21 million grant awarded to Nashville by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

City officials estimate that there will be sufficient funding to help some 5,000 Metro renters impacted by the pandemic.

All applications must be submitted online. There are no fees involved. Visit hope.nashville.gov to get started.
