MNPD

(Mike Osborne)  --  Court records show Tennessean Eric Munchel and his mother have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their alleged participation in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Better known as the “zip tie guy,” Munchel and his mother, Lisa Eisenhart, have been indicted on eight charges each. Those charges include obstruction of Congress, disorderly conduct, and carrying a weapon on Capitol grounds.

Eric Munchel is one of eleven Tennesseans charged in connection with the capitol riot. Seven are from here in Middle Tennessee.
