Listener Line Open for #GivingTuesdayNow

On May 5th, WMOT is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow. People all around the world are coming together to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities at the grassroots level. We’ll be joining stations across the country to remind listeners about the importance of public radio in this difficult time ... and we need your help.

As a loyal listener and supporter of WMOT, we’re inviting you to call our brand new WMOT Listener Line and share your thoughts about WMOT and the role it plays in your life.

We’ll be using select voicemails on the air throughout the day, May 5. You can tell us anything! For many, our inspiring and evolving music library is helping you through uncertain times, for some reliable news has never felt more important. And some folks love it all.

Of course, your financial investment speaks volumes about how you feel, but to have your actual voice on the airwaves alongside the hosts you listen to day after day? We think it’ll be a great reminder for other listeners that this is a community station. And that we’re all in it together.

So, here’s the number: 615-801-8702.

You’ll hear a brief message and then you can record your message. You can use your name if you’d like, or not. You can make it a brief 30 seconds, or a couple of minutes. We love our WMOT pets and maybe yours is wondering why you’re home all day with the radio on? A shout-out from them is fine, too.

We’re eager to hear from you and to share your passion for public radio music!

You can make a one-time donation to WMOT, which will help us fund operations during these uncertain times.

Thank you for your support!
