Thank you for Supporting Your Roots and this listener-supported, public radio station.
WMOT relies on community support to power the station we all love. Just like you, people all over the world tune in and join the WMOT Roots Radio Community because they value discovering music, connecting with fellow music lovers, and supporting artists – and they want to give back to the station that gives them so much enjoyment.
WMOT enriches people's lives by championing music and discovery.
Your gift supports WMOT's mission by providing services that benefit:
- Music Lovers
- Artists
- The Music Community
As a non-profit organization WMOT relies on donor investments to provide music experiences that bring joy to our days and enrich our culture. Your gift to WMOT benefits the whole community.
Discover music throughout the year
On The Air - WMOT is lovingily and locally programmed for our community, right here in our WMOT studio by Jessie Scott. You will hear old favorites, deep cuts from artists you love and lots of emerging Americana artists. If you are out of range of our 100,000 watt signal, check us out our streaming services at WMOT.org or on the NPR app on the App Store and Google Play, on Alexa and Homepod and the TuneIn Radio app.
Live Music Events - COVID-19 has put our live, in-person events on hold for now. Community favorites Finally Friday and Wired In have been reimagined as virtual events, recorded at home and in studios and posted to WMOT.org and LiveSessions.NPR.org. As soon as it's safe we look forward to seeing you at Finally Friday, Wired In and 895 Fest.
On the Internet - You can find music news from our music news and talk guy Craig Havighurst, local news from Mike Osborne, video from our Wired In performances, Words and Music, Finally Friday From Home and replays of our locally produced shows like Lost Sounds, Bel-Aire Drive, Electric Western, The List and Somebody Say Amen. Check out WMOT.org or join our Facebook Page @wmotrootsradio.
