KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- A third mid-state high school has closed due to COVID-19 infections in less than a week.
Cheatham County School officials announced Monday that Harpeth High in Kingston Springs will be closed for two weeks. The high school will be sanitized before it reopens.
In a press statement announcing the closure, school officials urged students to remain at home until classes resume.
Williamson County officials will decide Tuesday whether to extend a closure at Fairview High ordered this past Friday.
This past week Spring Hill High in Maury County was closed for two weeks due to a rise in COVID-19 infections.
